Mountain Comprehensive Health Corporation (MCHC), is a multi-county comprehensive health program designed to provide quality health care to the people of Letcher, Harlan, Perry, Owsley, Bell, Knott, Pike and the surrounding counties, it has been in operation since June 1971.
MCHC is a non-profit Kentucky corporation governed by a volunteer Board of Directors with the majority of the Board of Directors being patients of MCHC.
MCHC’s Central Office, Whitesburg Medical/Dental Clinic, Whitesburg Annex #1, Isom Medical Clinic, and Respiratory Clinics of Eastern Kentucky are located in Letcher County.
The Cumberland Medical/Dental Clinic and Harlan Medical Center operate in Harlan County.
The Buckhorn and Leatherwood/Blackey Medical Clinics are located in Perry County, and the Owsley County Medical Clinic is located in Booneville.
The Pineville Medical Clinic and Middlesboro Campus Clinic operate in Bell County.
The Elkhorn City Medical Clinic provides services in Pike County.
The Knott County Medical Clinic provides services in Knott County.
